Let US fight

The “War on Terror” is a hot topic in today political arena. However, most of us are still trying to figure out why we are in there in the first place. Is it because terrorist our evil tyrants who do not care about anyone but themselves? True but that is not why we are fighting. Is it because they take the liberties of others? Again true, however, we are fighting for something greater.
Most of us remember the cowardly suicidal attacks of 9/11. from where we where to how we felt we, still remember. That is why we fight the “War on Terror,” to defend America.
Now “the best defense is a good offense,” and we see this every day. When we fight the terrorists in their homelands, they are forced to spend time, money and resources to defend themselves instead of using the same resources to attack innocent American civilians. For about nine years, we have been taking the battle to the terrorists and tying them down in their own holes, and we are forcing the terrorists back. Those who are defending our lives and our freedoms are now capturing the territory the terrorists once had.

The terrorists are being pushed back like a dog backing into a corner, and like the dog they are biting as much as they can, but to no avail. They still move back. When the terrorists is stuck in a corner, we can control and conquer him. He is not a threat so long as we keep him there, but by backing out of the war we will effectually allow terror and those who bring it to win.
We saw this in Vietnam. When we pulled out the communist took over. Are we going to let that happen to us now? Allowing the terrorists to win is more dangerous than what happened with Vietnam. These terrorists have sworn to destroy us or die in the attempt, so if they win in Iraq they will not stay in Iraq. They will attack us here and that would cost American civilian lives.
If we pull out we will jump out of frying pan and into the fire. If we move out of the hardships and struggles of this war, the advantages that we have as a result will not only be lost and but reversed on us. We must keep fighting for our rights, including the rights of free speech, free press, free assembly and free religion. We must fight to keep these from the hands of evil men. If we give in there will be no one to blame if we are attacked again except ourselves.

We must prevent an attack. The age old saying, “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure”, is true. Prevention clearly is and will be the best policy against terror. Those who have died in the line of fire were saying that their blood screams for us to fulfill their mission. It cries out, “Prevent bloodshed in America, and avenge those who died!” but now, when victory is in our grasp, we are pulling out and forsaking our best defense.
There is no question that we can win this war. In addition, we can prevent a war, the “War of United Islamic Terrorists.” All we need to do is keep going, stay strong, and never stop. Our children’s, our grandchildren’s and our freedom, hangs in the balance, a balance standing in Washington D. C.
Those wishing to destroy freedom as we know it are both losing and winning—losing in their homeland but winning in our Capital. The lives of American citizens are right now on a table in Washington waiting for a call from a single man, a man who does not see the future and does not care.  If we are to keep the freedom, liberty and life we have now we must fight. Now you and I fight both terrorists and our own government—the terrorists with guns, and our government with votes.

Freedom is not free. However, we decide, we must remember that. Freedom will cost us in tax dollars and solders lives, but Freedom is the heartbeat of America. Let us count the cost and keep that heartbeat strong.  To do this I urge that we keep fighting, to save our Freedom, our Liberty, our Justice and our Honor. To give in would only mean more attacks more deaths and a loss of our Freedom. We must fight to keep that heartbeat strong.
